The exhibition is the result of the Risk Change project’s residency program, which was attended by members of the informal collective Un-war Space Lab between October 2019 and March 2020. In this project, the team focused on researching national border systems and border infrastructures, focusing on how they define, in-fluence, manipulate, control, destroy human lives, mark the surrounding landscapes and in- scribe a history of vi-olence. In Malta, Serbia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herze-govina, the collective, in collaboration with various peo-ple on the move, has created film essays, photographs, soundscapes, and texts in a combination of historical documents. They are presented for the first time in this gallery installation.
